PCFC Celebrates 15 Years of Microfinance Service Delivery Through a Nationwide Feeding Program

In celebration of its 15^th founding anniversary, PCFC once again actively pursued its corporate social responsibility (CSR) by reaching out to the less fortunate individuals and communities. Together with the six regional microfinance councils and its member microfinance institutions (MFIs), PCFC conducted a nationwide feeding program to the indigent children in the different communities in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The nationwide feeding program for the children with a theme “We Care, We Share, We Rear” had more than 2,879 beneficiaries. The feeding programs were conducted by PCFC and its 22 MFI-partners in the different regions.

PCFC Participates in the Agri-Credit Seminar Series in Mindanao

The People’s Credit & Finance Corporation (PCFC) thru the Corporate Communications Department participated in the “Agri-Credit Seminar Series” organized by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Unit No. 10 and the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC). The seminar aims to increase awareness on the credit programs for farmers and fisherfolks, introduce and link stakeholders who need financing assistance, guarantee and insurance programs, and to assess gaps on the existing credit programs of the different government financing institutions.
